1. Make sure they feel safe and secure at night. Night lights for kids will help with that.
2. Relax before bedtime. Whether it’s reading a book or taking a warm bath, it’s important to encourage them to relax.
3. Create a bedtime routine for them. Starting at the same time each night and including the same things such as a bath and story, will help build good sleep patterns.

5. For kids five years old and up, limit naps during the day to 20 minutes.
6. Make sure their bedroom is quiet so there are no noises that will wake them up.

8. Make sure your kids have been fed so they are neither too full or hungry.
9. Avoid chocolate, cola, tea and energy drinks because they all contain caffeine.
